New York City Wine & Food Festival (NYCWFF)
The New York City Wine & Food Festival is a four-day annual festival that showcases the talents of the world’s renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary talents across 80 events in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The festival also supports New Yorkers living with sever illness by way of the organization, God’s Love We Deliver.
On October 19th, Chef Marc Forgione and Frenchette’s Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr will be hosting a “feast fit for a king” at The Beekman. The menu includes decadent dishes such as Foie Gras Tarte, Halibut Vin Juane, and Venison Terrine.

New York Botanical Gardens Fall-O-Ween (NYBG)
Tricks and treats come to life this season with pumpkins, gourds, fall flowers and fun-filled activities at NYBG. Now thru October 27th, NYBG will be the pumpkin headquarters where frights and foliage intersect to create New York City’s most beautiful landscape and fun interactive activities are available for all.

Halloween Parade
The countdown is on for New York City’s 51st Halloween Parade. This year’s theme is “Meow” and the grand marshal is the Broadway icon, Andre De Shields. Grab your cat ears and join spectators as they line the streets at Sixth Avenue, or between Bleecker and 14 Street.
New York City Marathon
On Sunday, November 3rd 165,000 runners will participate in the 26.2-mile race across all five boroughs. Touted as being one of the top 5 marathons in the world, the race starts at the Verrazzano – Narrows Bridge on Staten Island, then passes through Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx, before finishing in Central Park.
