New York Fashion Week ’24

Astonishing disco ball with red light suspended from the ceiling's central position.

Today the city transforms into the ultimate catwalk as New York Fashion Week (NYFW) begins. The extra buzz in the air is once again highly contagious as we all wait to see the new collections from top designers, and make our selections on which events and after-parties to attend.

The New York Fashion Week experience is simply unmatched. Celebrated as one of the four major fashion weeks in the world, attendees are able to experience fashion exhibitions, industry events, and many celebrations around the city.

In 1943, the world’s first organized fashion week was called “Press Week” which would eventually be renamed New York Fashion Week. The citywide events not only highlight the collections from well known designers, but also emerging creatives. This year’s designers include PatBo, Alice + Olivia, Jason Wu and Frederick Anderson to name a few. Runway shows will feature collections from Probal Gurung, Tommy Hilfiger, Ulla Johnson, Coach and many more.

About NYFW
New York Fashion Week would not exist without Eleanor Lambert. Eleanor moved to New York in 1925 and changed the course of American Fashion from the moment she helped organize the New York Dress Institute and years later, Press Week.
