Shakespeare’s Hamlet had its New York debut at the Chapel Street Theatre located in the Beekman. Ralph Waldo Emerson, Mark Twain, Henry David Thoreau, and Edgar Allan Poe are just a few of the familiar faces that have graced the Beekman.
